Burehus - Réserver une table

What a meal. All our dishes were beautiful. Food was fresh and lovely. Huge menu. I had a very nice boullion soup with a poached egg in it that was amazing. For main I chose a local dish of liver which was simple and really nice. Had some Swiss Malbec wine, which was gorgeous. The most impressive thing was the service. The waitress obviously was properly trained, you could tell by how she just served the wine. This is sadly unusual these days. Also, although this is far from a tourist spot, when she heard me speaking English (the only non Swiss person in our party), she spoke perfect English to me. This place was top class !!!

Today we had lunch at the Restaurant Burehus. They offer 8 different menues all in the price range of approx. CHF 23-35. My husband had pork/horse Schnitzel with rice, a pepper sauce and various vegetables. I hade grilled prawns with all kinds of different salads and two different types of melon. The food was delicious and the price for Swiss standard very reasonable. You can sit outside under cover protected from the sun or rain. or of course inside. Plenty of parking. The service is very friendly and efficient. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stop here for something to eat.

We found this restaurant by accident last Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a great meal (hot cuisine at 14.30). The food was well served and of excellent quality. Very nice atmosphere, and reasonably priced

Interesting menu, good number of choices. Quality good, freshly made food. Service efficient. Prices relatively high.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at this restaurant and had a lovely evening with rural cuisine at an affordable price.
