The Burg Hotel in Wassenberg is located in a picturesque rural setting that promises peace and nature. Unfortunately, the rooms leave a lot to be desired. The decor doesn't seem well thought out, and when I checked in I noticed an unpleasant, stale smell. Improvements in the interior design and freshness would definitely be appropriate here. We celebrated an absolute dream wedding in the castle. Everything was really perfect. Starting with the entire planning, where Mr. Savio took a lot of time with the bride and groom several times to discuss the celebration and was always there to help and advise The decorations the day before worked out great. Everyone did a great job on the wedding day, supported us and fulfilled every wish. You can tell that Mr. Savio has already held many celebrations and is good at organizing and planning. My husband and I celebrated our wedding there on 17.06.23 (Rittersaal). It was incredibly beautiful. We are thrilled and have only received positive feedback from our guests before we could even ask how they liked The decorating of the hall we made the most of the castle, as in the evening before was an event in the hall. Thanks again to Marci. It was all after our performances and the room was great. We really felt like king and queen. The service was very attentive and wishes were read by the lips. Wer in zwangloser gemütlicher Atmosphäre essen möchte, hat mit diesem Restaurant eine perfekte Wahl getroffen. Wir hatten einen Tisch am Fenster, mit Blick ins weite grüne Land, eine supernette und ziemlich fixe Bedienung, gepflegte Getränke und Gerichte, die aus einfachen Zutaten bestehen, aber hervorragend gekocht sind; die Beilagen konnte man sich selbst zusammenstellen. Because the staff was unique and nice. Despite the large premises, it was a family atmosphere and we could feel the good operating climate. Although many great events were, we were pampered as a hotel(Burg) guests. A big plus: My dog Monti was very welcome!!! The castle is surrounded by a great park and there is enough to explore for active vacationers. There's a little quieter in the place that didn't bother us. But there are also wine festivals, adventure chefs, etc. at weekends.
Waren heute mal wieder in der Burg Wassenberg essen gewesen. Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker, das Ambiente gemütlich und ansprechend und das Servicepersonal absolut freundlich, zuvorkommend und herzlich. We were there as guests of a wedding and we liked it very well. The service is very good and the hotel staff is very friendly. We felt comfortable all around and the location is also very nice!
