I kindly explained to her that I specifically ordered beef for my wife, but she responded with an attitude, saying I hadn’t mentioned beef. I recently ordered pork chops with rice and vegetables, but I was disappointed to find that there was barely any rice—mostly just vegetables. When I called to inquire, I was told that this is their standard serving size, which was frustrating. I spent $30 on the meal, including a side of beans and dessert. This happened at the East Orange location, where I've been a regular customer and even recommended to others. However, I’m not sure I’ll be returning, especially since they used to serve bread but don't anymore.
Good food at a reasonable price. The ribs and chicken had a great flavor. The portion was good. They overloaded with rice which had an okay flavor. The fries were good and the vegetables were very good to me.The location was crowded at about 2:00pm when I got there. The wait to place my order took a while. People just kept passing me.Food came relatively quick once ordered. Store was fairly clean.
I always order the Large Sirloin Steak with garlic rice and vegetables and the Grilled salmon the same way. It's always good. Everything is good accept the shrimp. The shrimp are small and they always taste kinda grainy/mushy and have that black brownish vein in them. It was like this a few times in a row weeks/months apart. So I stopped ordering the Garlic shrimp.

Shrimp in delicious garlic sauce. Yellow rice and beans. Salad and extra onions. 4 ribs and good friends to share the food and good association. Amazing lunch!
The food was great, I ordered 1/2 Chicken&Ribs with French Fries but when I ordered they didn't give me an estimated time and they ha need up the phone.
The food is delicious and the service is prompt. As for parking, the lot is small, but you can usually find a spot.
