love this place! chips are just delicious, not dry as some other places. portion size is good and with a large cod is a regular part enough for two, unless they are super hungry! the fish (cod) is divinely moist and delicate not really a critique, but if freshly cooked the dough leaves a quantity of oil in the packaging. they are now panko-bread crust, so I will try next time in any case. the curry sauce is ace and tastes wonderfully used as dip for chips and fish. the homemade tartaric acid sauce is to die and hits every brand in a bottle hands down. if they have not tried this chip and the fish store, I ask them to do so so that they will not be disappointed
since 11 years lived in london and no decent fish and chips are found. to burnham fish chips, so good! best in london and berkshire hands down! the dough, the chips the muddy heap, chip shop curry sauce on point, a beautiful family run business. I'm from yorkshire, I'm more familiar.
tried this fish store pure on reviews as we had to drive a pretty far away. it was so worth the cod was beautiful and the spam frit me back years. the best fish and chips we had in many years will go back, but really the owner wants to open a new shop in bracknell.
