Burrito Alegre - Réservation de table

It's an idle Sunday morning so I decided to grab a Mexican breakfast. I love little joints like this so I gave it a try and I am very happy I did! It's a little place that has a ton of plants and what not in the dining area but let's be honest, these little joints aren't for atmosphere. The woman taking my order was very pleasant and friendly. I ordered red chiliquilles and 2 al pastor tacos. The price was very fair and the portions were very good. But, damn, the food was absolutely delicious! The chiliquilles were crispy and the red sauce was rich, spicy, and packed with flavor. The egg on top was over medium with a fantastic crust. I was floored with how tasty it was for the price. An excellent Carne Asada burrito. Took a star off because of the lack of meat in the burrito. Update Sept 2023: Had the Carne Asada Burrito again. Worth paying the extra for extra meat.

I always get the taco dinner only steak and cheese, great tasting steak, beans and rice. I love the Verde salsa and horchata as well, they are my go to and #1 favorite in my area

Excellent food and the host is always so nice! I usually phone my order in and it's always ready once I arrive. I don't know about these other negative reviews about this place. Réservez une table maintenant
