My first two times getting food to go at this restaurant. I'm very picky when it comes to Mexican food. I had the hard shell chicken tacos (awesome), and they double wrap them so the oil is absorbed and the tacos keeps their crunch. The chile relleno (awesome), and it tasted authentic and not puffed up like some places make them. The carne asada and chicken burritos (with everything on them) were very good. The carne asada is meat and not fat or gristle and was my fav burrito. I also tried a side of beans, because they tasted amazing in the burritos and very, very good!! 5 stars for food, 1 star for: For the love of God, I went in for a breakfast burrito without the tortilla and she looked at me and said that will be $17 sir. I said $17? How is that possible? She said well this that the other thing and I was shocked. I in fact did pay the $17 gave her a two dollar tip and sat down.The reason I stayed is because this restaurant is immaculate. It is the cleanest kitchen that I have ever seen. I am so impressed and so upset at the same time. I ordered a chicken tostada salad, but what I received was completely different. When I called the restaurant to address the issue, the manager was incredibly rude. I requested a refund and offered to return the food, but he refused. Instead of chicken, I was served beef, and they charged me $12.50 for a plate of shredded lettuce without a tortilla shell. When I asked to speak to the store manager, he told me I couldn't. The service was terrible, and the food was really disappointing.
The best burritos in town! They still use lard in their refried beans and stuffed peppers, which they prepare themselves using their carnitas. This means there are no preservatives or the chemicals often found in vegetable oils. Pork fat is key to the flavor profile of Mexican cuisine—much like imagining Italian food without olive oil or French food without butter. Food seems like it's be pretty good. Unfortunately I'll never know because when I came by to try it, they seemed nice, but after watching the lady handle cash change, then cough covering it with her hand all, THEN handle the food, putting those same hands in the toppings buckets...I couldn't. Cmon guys, please wash hands before touching what people put into they're mouths...
This place is overpriced for the quality of their Mexican food. The burrito was hardly a burrito and definitely not worth the price. The tacos were also disappointing. I ended up spending over $25 for a drink, a burrito, and two tacos. There are much better places in the area where you can get more value for your money and enjoy higher quality food.
I can’t my weekend before my first time I asked for some food and he charge me 11.75$ the first time ,to be honest with you guys. I came back next weekend and I asked for the same plate. Guess what they charge me17.75$ burley had any meat This place is a rip off stay away from their guys it’s a joke. Wake up people.
For a $20 borrito and a $20 quesadilla this was a waste of money. In the burrito they didn't even put meat in it, it was just beans and a tortilla. the quesadilla was worse it was just meat and the tortilla not even proper folded. Fantastic street tacos and a very large yet affordable menu. Their horchata is the best I've ever had- not too sweet and so refreshing!I prefer places where you order at the counter and seat yourself. I like being able to just relax and focus on quality food. The owners are very kind and quick with service
