I have visited many guk bap restaurants, but this one is definitely the best on the east coast! Although it is a small restaurant with limited parking in the back, the food is top-notch. I highly recommend trying their blood sausage guk bap, which comes with delicious side dishes. The broth is rich and flavorful without any unpleasant aftertaste. If you come with a group, I suggest ordering the assorted soondae for the table. I also enjoyed the gamja tang and jokbal dishes. Due to limited seating, it's best to avoid peak hours. Many people also order takeout from this place. I always make sure to stop by whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommended!

Busan is the second largest city in South Korea, and is located on the southeast end of Korea by the sea. It is famous for its seafood of course, but also has lots of special dishes, and dwejigookbab (pork soup) is one of them. You'll see that instead of salt, you are given salted fermented shrimp, so you know they are doing it right. If you love Korean food, it might be time to try regional dishes, and I can personally guarantee that it tastes like if you were in Busan.

I was looking for some authentic, top-notch Korean soup and this place really hit the spot. The soup had a traditional flavor and was very satisfying. I even got an extra order to take home. The interior of the building is not the best, as it is small, crowded, and run down. It would be nice if they could work on improving that. However, the delicious taste of the soup more than makes up for it, and I noticed many Koreans dining in, which is always a good sign.

Absolutely delicious! $15/person for outstanding food. We went for lunch and had the dakdoritang and the soondae guk. It is a small restaurant so avoid peak times if you don't want to wait but if there is a wait, it's well worth it!
