server was very nice, not the fastest. we had vegan afteros. good for 2 people fill. mojitos was really delicious. the choices were plentiful and interesting. the beer was good and we liked that they had local options for so many items. we would have been running with a sandwich and the fruit salad with the other. they tell them in advance when they have a deadline. we were not in a hurry and have made it appreciate not to order. would be great for a band or a date. they have breakfast, lunch. we would have liked to hang up for the entertainment and would definitely come back. updated from previous review on 2013-05-13
The food we did get? was good. We came with a party of 9. It was a slow night for them, but yet the service was very poor. One person in our party never got their food. We mentioned it to them more than once and they assured us it was on the way. Our party waited a while and decided to eat without them, as we had plans. Boyfriend and I were looking for breakfast to eat and we choose to go here. Very unique atmosphere. Love how they incorporated the bookstore dinning together. Although the service we got was not what we expected. We order our drinks then later ordered our entrées. We get our food and both of our food was lukewarm and my fries was COLD (didn?t eat it). Idk if this place lives up to the hype. My avocado panini with a side of tomato soup was quite good (the pesto in the sandwich was the bomb diggity part) but it just wasn’t the “out of the park” hot spot that people make it out to be. We went at 2pm on a Saturday and the service was quite slow. We were not in a rush so it was fine, and I’m not sure if they’re under staffed, but I would have liked to see a better experience. I love the idea of this place!! They sell books! It's amazing!! The artwork is powerful and speaks volumes without spoken words. I came here with a group for my scholarship and we got a whole from to ourselves. It's a very big place with multiple rooms and a huge outdoor patio. Service was great and everyone was friendly and helpful. The ART tho ????????????
this place has the great combination of a comfortable aesthetic, good eating and great service. I am here several times and have tried the vegan “egg” scramble and the vegan “chickens” sand, both were really delicious and fill. I recommend to come here and get to know the amazing staff that make a great job to make sure they have a good experience
My vegan burger was very chewy and was sticking on the teeth. The pomegranate lemonade was good. Other items on the menu look interesting so will give another visit. The servers are polite and friendly and the ambiance is very chic and vibrant, both inside and outside. 5/5 on sustainability as they didn?t use any single use items.
came here with a large group of people (not all vegan) so that I did the thing that there was something for everyone. I thought there was a pretty good amount of vegan options! I have the cauliflower bites and one of the temporary ones. I loved the tempeh but wished there were more veggies. except that it was good! Réservez une table maintenant
As soon as you step foot inside the restaurant you are captured by the design and layout. The books that they have out for display are very interesting. Then, you have the food. I only had the shrimp and grits, but the other meals caught my attention so much that I need to go back.
