A great eating time was had #foodiefriday at @thebusybeeatl here in the historic ATL. Can you believe one half of the team had never been.... and I am from Atlanta. For shame right? But my bestie @lady888 made up for my lack of experience with a trip for my bday month. This is what we had: Fried catfish Fried Chicken Mac and cheese Collard Greens Peach cobbler Key lime cake Banana pudding Everything was absolutely amazing. @lady888 even loved the cobbler and she never eats cobbler. The food didn’t match the hype (to me). The yams tasted as though they were straight from the can. The macaroni was ok, but the best thing ordered. My catfish was cooked well, but too fishy. No much to the service. I entered and requested a menu to review. I was told the menu was online, so basically if I didn’t have my phone I would be out of luck. Upon entering, you’re stopped at the door, place your order and wait in your car until your food is done. Not customer friendly at all. The host brought our food to the car and instructed us to check it to make sure everything was there. I found the prices to be high for the quantity and quality. Fried chicken and I’m not even from out here I’m just visiting but they beat my fried chicken spot back home in NY. That banana pudding, I see why it’s $12 . Oh and the lemonade crazy makesure you say no ice you get ya buck worth cause you gonna want a refill it’s so good. I had collard greens and Mac with mine and no complaints. I’ll definitely be back
What a delicious meal, every single side dish and entree was absolutely delicious. I've never been a fan of collard greens until today. It was a life changing experience how delicious that food was. I'm definitely coming back here anytime somebody wants a true taste of the south.

The food was amazing!!! I got fried shrimp with macaroni, greens and yams. This was the best soul food I ever had! The wait was long though... about 40 minutes for take out... worth the wait. I live in Maryland and when I go to Atlanta, I'm not leaving without stopping here!
I came down all the way from Rockford Illinois to go to The Busy Bee. So sad that they only now have take out but so glad that I got to expierence the south on a plate . Absolutely delicious! A dream come true!
Visited ATL from London. This Busy Bee was recommended. The Food, portion size customer service was amazing! I will definitely be coming back. Thank you.
