I absolutely love this restaurant! Let's get right to it: the food is amazing, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. My wife and I visited for the first time and enjoyed ourselves so much that we returned the very next day. I want to give a special shoutout to Dan and Taylor—the best bartenders in Des Moines, without a doubt! Coming from Florida, we were truly impressed by the hospitality in Des Moines, but Dan and Taylor made us feel like locals, which meant so much to us. We had a fantastic time—thank you both!
When we arrived, the restaurant was quite busy, but that was completely understandable. The service was excellent—everything was served promptly, and the staff was very friendly to my kids. The food was delicious; I ordered the Cajun club sandwich, and the smoky flavor was the standout feature. I didn’t quite taste the jalapeño flavor in the bacon as much as I expected, but it was still one of the best club sandwiches I've ever had. My daughters were thrilled that ice cream was included with their kids' meals. We will definitely be returning the next time we're in town.

Was here 4-11-22 around 6pm Took a little while to get a seat no one was at front of reasturant, sat at bar got service immediately, ordered a drink waitress (blonde lady didn't catch her name) was fast, got me food menu and got my order in right away food was out fast I ordered the armadillo eggs and cajun combo wich the waitress recommended they were delicious, good price and a lot of food I couldn't even finish it will definitely be back staff was really nice hole experience was good Réservez une table maintenant

Our hostess was somewhat reserved, but our server was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The cocktails were delicious, as were the blackened catfish and shrimp creole. We were especially pleased to find they offer a dedicated 'Gluten Friendly Menu' with several gluten-free options. Overall, a great experience!

Considering the overall quality, I was left unsatisfied. While I know they hope for good tips, it's hard to justify tipping when the drinks were like this. You might think I'm being picky, but when I spend over $100 on a meal and receive this level of service, it makes me reconsider returning. To make matters worse, there were flies buzzing around while we ate, making it a struggle to keep them off our food.
