So disappointed. Have been a patron at Buzzys for years. Love their crab meltaway and awesome soup. Ordered both Togo, literally live 3 mins away. There wasn 't any bread or onions in my French onion soup and barely any cheese. The crab meltaway which was once topped with lumps of crab meat was just a piece of bread with maybe some crab flavoring and virtually no cheese. Very disappointed! I had lunch with my mother yesterday for the first time since the pandemic, and everything was just as wonderful as I remembered. The crab cakes were delicious, melting in your mouth, and the mini pierogies, topped with flavorful little onions, were a delightful treat. My cheeseburger was as fantastic as always. We sat at the bar, and Christine, our bartender, was incredibly attentive, getting our food and drinks to us in no time. We'll definitely be returning very soon!
Although the menu has been trimmed down since the onset of Covid, the quality of the food has stayed impressive. The Crab Meltaways are outstanding, as are their burgers. They grill steaks, chicken, and burgers to perfection, and these items have recently been revamped. The only addition I would love to see is a selection of rotating local beers; Carton or Canoe Brewery would be great options.
Good place to meet up to get away from daily work and home for a few. Asked for a sandwich off the menu and without hesitation it was ordered to perfection. It is one of the best families taverns in the Piscataway area... and they have the best appetizers you can eat as meals! I still get my old family gift cards from there after 30 years good food there!
Always a great place to dine. Rob, the owner greets you with a hello, when there. Food is very good, service is excellent (Patricia at night) and prices are reasonable. Try it out.
The best cheesesteak sandwich in Piscataway! It's quite pricey, but delicious. I just wish it were larger for the price. Also, I would prefer it on a whole wheat bun. Réservez une table maintenant
Great hometown tavern-like atmosphere where comfort food menu items are plentiful and mouth-watering. Servers are friendly and skilled.
