I have seen their dessert photos circulating in instgram and I was hooked. I came here today looking for that chocolate pastry. Before coming in, I was planning on taking away my coffee and my treat. The place itself has an interesting ambience. It has knick knacks that will grab your attention. Unfortunately, the chocolate pastry is nowhere to be found in their display so I opted for lemon curd tart and a takeaway flatwhite.Since it is such a lovely day I decided to eat my lemon curd tart inside and just people watch while enjoying it. I reckon this takeaway cup is adorable. The skinny flat white was average. Not a strong as I would have liked, maybe I should have gotten a double shot inste...

Absolutely the best coffee shop in the area. I've lived in Hyde Park my whole life I used to love Saffron Sky before they closed and then started going to Cibo only to be served by a new arrogant person every day until I discovered By Blackbird on a morning walk one day out of the blue These guys have the best coffee, best barista and great pastries that they make in house. The main barista, Jin, is a top guy and remembers all his customers' orders off the top of his head. Consistent and perfect coffee every time. This is the best place to be on a weekday or weekend. Keep up the great work guys!

Delicious pastry and perfect customer service, that pretty much sums up this place. Ordered an almond croissant, and it’s one of the best I have had, on par with Agathe Patisserie in Melbourne. Plus, the barista is a top bloke, kind and considerate. Réservez une table maintenant
