Byron Hamburgers

my complaint about the company was ignored so I thought I could just post it here instead. my friend and I recently visited the Byron burger restaurant on the harbour parade in southampton on Monday, feb this was not my first visit to a...Byron burger, we have always enjoyed our experience in salisbury. Unfortunately, our first experience of the harbour parade site was not happy. at the arrival in the restaurant we were left for a dae at the door, the personal remained around the bar sprinkled instead of helping us. I always understand that I have to wait, but there were only tables and at least FOH staff. a FOH team member looked at us several times before he slowly overshot us. I should have taken this as a sign that we were not welcome and then left. there were no occasions exchanged, and we went on a table for a long time before he could pick up our order. that was very frustrating, as we could jole him with the team leader and laugh (I assume because it was clothing). we had to ask some about the menu we received was how to draw. our food came in fairer time, but was simply tipped on our table and with a word said the FOH team member back into the jest with the team leader. I had to interrupt another FOH team member just to get salt and ketchup, which was also spilled on my table with word. the burgers were both overcooked, but good enough nothing like their other places and we never got a table check. we were not offered any gloomy or other drinks and we had to turn on the FOH team member again to get the bill. when the bill came, it had added a gratulation. I asked to remove this as I had planned to pay for the food, and my friend wanted to pay the tipp in cash. the FOH team member then sat at my table and I was told that the gratulation could not be removed as it is now an industry standard. I explained how this was observed and demanded that it be removed what he did involuntarily. because of his observation, we did not tip at the end. I am very disappointed by the service, found it rude, ignorant and intimidating at the end.

The food has always been great on every occasion I’ve been here, however this evening was a disappointment. The lady who served me and my father was extremely rude, we asked for starters which came out at the same time as our mains, when my...dad pointed this out we were told “either you have it or I take it back you didn’t say it was a starter” despite both of us ordering starters and letting her know when ordering. The poor attitude continued throughout the service, which is a shame as we both looked forward to dining here. We understand it may of been a human error however there was no apology it was a take it or leave it attitude which is never nice, and despite the poor service we still paid the service charge that was added to our bill without asking…

I have never come across anywhere like this they don't give a dam after waiting for around twenty minutes from order for food our food arrived at the pass for delivery to table and it was sat there for minuets getting cold the staff...were more intent on clearing tables delivering drinks and getting bills than delivering the food then the staff even lie after walking past the pass and looking at food twice to get drinks said she didn't know it was there when she delivered it and the restaurant wasn't even busy. Assistant manager even whipped away what was a poor cold meal before I could take a picture. Seems a common problem with Byron restaurant's.

we always choose the vegan burger when we go, so we are great burger fans. I was quite disappointed and, for a burger restaurant, surprised that I had better loads elsewhere. our friends have meatburgers they love, but they agree they come away feel bad after. the milkshakes are the best part. fries were cold, although the kitchen was so close and the worst part, a 12.5% service fee for an overpriced mcdonalds.

spacious dining area, great location in southampton in the shopping center west quay. nothing to complain about the burger. the only thing is that this place seems to experience worker shortage at the moment, so that everything can be slower than you would normally expect.
