As you walk up the brick pathway towards the custom Byrsa Bistro sign, you 're instantly transported to an almost fairytale like backyard garden with plenty of tables for outdoor dining, adorned with string lights that really just make it the most beautiful atmosphere. Enjoyed dinner with a party of nine on a recent Saturday night. We had a reservation and were seated in the room with the bar. The table enjoyed the Mediterranean sampler and the burrata bruschetta for appetizers both were well presented and very tasty. Between all of us we had almost all of the entrees offered that night and all were delicious. The Branzino was perfectly cooked. Several in our party enjoyed the pasta dishes and we had one diner order a pizza (he loved it! . DONT GO HERE AND DONT MAKE A RESERVATION IT WONT EVEN MATTER! Save your time!!! Had a reservation at 7:00pm on Valentine 's Day and arrived at 7:00. Nobody served us. Waited 10 minutes, then the host came and said you guys have to wait, there 's two couples in front of you. No offer to seat us at the bar or any chairs, no apologies, just expecting standing by the door! and I 'm 6 months pregnant!!! A beautiful restaurant with a great outdoor space for the warmer months, and a cozy quaint indoor space for the colder months. The menu has a variety of food for every preference, and the restaurant is super accommodating if you want to make alterations. My favorite is their mushroom soup for your appetizer, rosa sauce (ask for it to be spicy if you like heat! with chicken for your entree, and the chocolate mousse for dessert! First time back here in a year. We used to love this little out if the way hidden gem. The interior is quite unique and the vibe is intriguing. We were excited to introduce our friends to this place. What a disappointment! The service was slow (slower than usual). Two of us received dishes that were significantly different than the menu described. And the chicken and pasta were both over-done! C'mon, that's some basic stuff right there. Drinks were good though.
Loved the atmosphere and our service was great. I really loved all the appetizers, but I wasn't a huge fan of the entrees. The food was outstanding and the ambience was perfect. We were looking for a an outdoor BYOB dining experience. This restaurant was all we could ask for, although the service seemed a little off. Perhaps our server was new. That being said, we will definitely return.
