We visited Cactus Cat for lunch after spending the morning pondering modern art at the nearby MACBA. The menu features a few main dishes plus a variety of tapas. We went for the former I ordered the Vietnamese rolls and my wife had the lasagne. Both were pretty good without being amazing. Both dishes cost €14 which seemed fairly pricey at first glance but portions are large so it's actually reasonable value, especially as you get a soup or salad as part of the deal. I was less than impressed, however, that they tried to charge me €2 for some tap water. It also wasn't great to see the chef petting the resident dog and then returning to the open kitchen to prepare food without washing his hands but maybe that's just me.
