Food at Cafe a la Russe was one of the best experiences in recent times! Really nice service, authentic Russian cuisine and even small details like a metal cup in the picture-very Russian experience! Very delicious food, fast and friendly service and good prices. I don't usually write reviews, but everything in this experience was so beautiful that I couldn't resist living in Berlin and exploring some Russian restaurants, but so far, no more authentic ones found.
Café A La Russe is so small and discreet that you could miss it on Lindenstraße and you could regret it. This charming doll house is cozy, beautifully decorated in a discrete Russian style with red walls. Menu is as small as the place, but offers...a few good specialties I have tested : blinis with salmon, pirochki, salad Vinaigrette, tarts, Baltic beer. Service is fast and prices are easy. Café A La Russe is a good address in Potsdam.
I haven't been so impressed by a restaurant for a long time.The seats are very cozy and the distance between the places I find especially appropriate. There you don't get the feeling of eating cucumbers in the can evening.The staff is constantly very bearded and galantic!I usually didn't want to share the dessert with my order anymore. We have learned something from it and will order the next time per person a dessert.
we liked that there is not only cafe (or tschai) but also proper Russian hearty kitchen. pelmeni, borschtsch, schaschlyk, etc. - everything here and exactly as prepared in Russia. tastes delicious. there's even kwas! the ambiente is very successful. very Russian but without overbordening kitsch. with loving details, such as the board with a few vocabularies, which everyone can quickly remember. very recommended. smal restaurant with indoor and outdoor area in the center of the city potsdam. very delicious original Russian food and drinks. various types of pelmeni, Russian suppen and Georgian seciias. very friendly staff and good prices.
this caffe is located on the main street. the decor is warm and welcoming. we stopped here for lunch. the set lunch menu was great and was beautiful Russian cuisine. I'm sorry we didn't have the opportunity to eat there too.
