C'est un bar décontracté et convivial avec une sensation hipster. Je suis presque certain que la barbe est obligatoire pour le personnel du bar. Comme son nom l'indique, l'objectif est de vous faire vous sentir «chez vous». Ils ont une bonne sélection de jeux de société de ... occasionnels à certains plus stratégiques et des canapés. Leurs sélections de gin et de whisky sont excellentes et sont les principales raisons pour lesquelles nous continuons à revenir
we stopped in on International Students night when it was very busy, and had great service and met nice people. We went back the next day for a snack and a drink. They also were kind enough to open our bottle of wine that we were taking to our hotel! (we had lost our corkscrew to airport security). The food menu was small but excellent with vegetarian options. The bar had a wide variety of choices, more than I expected.
We visited this pub a little while ago to see a friend's gig, went back to Aachen today and has to go back to see if it was as great as we remembered. I'm happy to say, yes it is. Extremely friendly staff, a huge selection drinks. I loved the selection of board games which are for anyone to use, and it was great to see groups of people playing games, chatting and laughing.
This is a laid back, friendly bar with a hipster feel to it (I'm almost certain beards are compulsory for the bar staff). As the name suggests the aim is to make you feel 'at home'. They have a good selection of board games (from casual to some higher strategy ones) and some sofas. Their gin and whiskey selections are excellent and are the main reasons we keep going back. The drinks were delicious. The atmosphere was super friendly and relaxed. The service was awesome. If there was a place like this near where I live, I would totally be a regular! And we're talking multiple times/week regular!
Is a good place where you can have a nice time, and it also has a variety of board games that you can play. A lot of people go there so you have to be prepare for having to wait for a table.
