"Best pizzas for miles around with great staff, including a lovely Latino lady. Unfortunately she was only working the season and the worst thing about this place is that it closes from October to May. But in May, even tho the staff may be different, the awesome pizzas will be back!"

Great experience! Wasn 't sure what to expect when we were told that we were going to stop in a small town on our bus tour. Very beautiful scenic drive there. Apparently, the population of the town is around 500 people so, keep that in mind and enjoy yourself. We only had time for coffee and tea. Would have loved to try their pizza after reading these reviews. The man working when we arrived was very pleasant. We only know about 6 words in French. Me: bonjour Him: bonjour ????????? I had no idea what he said past bonjour. I had my Google translate out with tea written in for translation. At least I was trying to communicate. It 's been decades since I took French in middle school. I was pleasantly relieved when he asked me, in English, what flavour I wanted. Merci! Thank you! I really appreciated his thoughtfulness as he completed taking our order in English. Because of his willingness with communication, great tea and service, 5 star.

After a labyrinth-walk in the heart of the village of Mirmande, to the highest point (church), which I can only recommend, it was time to find a small restaurant to sunbathe in the early afternoon. We followed our instinct and found Café Bert with a super nice team, fun furnishings and small home-made dishes. Whether it's the little olives, the dishes of the day, or just the aperitif, everything is very good and at a reasonable price. It is nice to see that in some small tourist locations where there is hardly any competition, the opportunity is still taken to be friendly and courteous to the customer. Bravo, nous reviendrons, bonne chance!

OMG...this was a bad experience! We waited over 1 hour for our food to arrive. I ordered Raviole au Gratin. The ravioli was dried up was swimming in oil. The poor waitress was very apologetic polite explained that it was only her her colleague in the kitchen who were on duty on a very busy Sunday. The owner had not pitched up!!

This is such a cute and quirky restaurant/bar, great for just a drink outside if you can get a table, and equally good for food. We had amazing pizzas on both occasions and they were some of the best we've ever had. Lovely friendly waitress who always made sure our dog was well watered too.
