Cafe Calypso - Réserver une table

My new favorite place! The indoor and outdoor atmosphere is so welcoming (and fun! Designed for vacation) and relaxing- it feels like home. The food is SOOO tasty: breakfast sandwiches healthy lunch wraps, heated pastries and fresh smoothies and a large coffee selection I wouldn't go anywhere else since I found Cafe Calypso! Besides, the staff were so helpful and friendly and beautiful from the beginning to the end, it was a great visit to my girls, my mother and me. We will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu and enjoy the comfortable, local environment

Everything was way overpriced, $7 for what tasted like watered down orange pulp. The food was bland beyond human perception, the eggs felt and tasted like wet packing peanuts. The outside patio was a mixture of annoying and horrible music with plastic flamingos stuck to every piece of vegetation. It was so bad that it made me write this review.

Fabulous food and great cafe environment as well! The seasonal options are excellent, the strawberry salad is delicious. The food is made with love and fresh. The courtyard has lots of plants and umbrellas to protect your complexion. Great local spot and place to relax. Save your receipt to get the bathroom key.

As always, the Calypso is a true paradise! We've been going there for many years and love the awesome people there and great, healthy food. A must visit anytime you're in San Clemente on Del Mar. The old hotel is very cool too, except it's apartments now days.
