The Cafe Cup is good. I know many people like it for it's cozy and Bohemian atmosphere, and drinkable coffee, which is good. But the food is not really worth it. The service is also good.... serviceable. I ordered cakes there... a few times with friends and it was okay, but not to write home. Better than eating. My husband went to lunch last week and I ordered a panini. It took forever to come. Unfortunately, I have a roasted sandwich that is not exactly a panini. The salad I ordered was not too fresh, and dressing is too oily. My husband ordered a cheese plate, and instead of small pieces of cheese, small pieces were served that were strange. more beautiful to load with delicious coffee and some organic products in the beverage area. the milk has recently come as a biomilk from Eben-Ezer. there are also tasty eating my tip: pannini! and super cake. mix of modern and old in the plant. of course it is a smoke-free caffe! there are some seats outside of the caffe and a cool inside courtyard for hot summer days. beautiful staff and apartments are also available. they can hardly stay in the center. So I'm going.
The Café Cup is my favorite place in Detmold. The decor has a very cozy charm. The courtyard and the new outdoor area invite you to wonderful summer afternoons. All cakes are freshly baked and simply taste heavenly. The menu offers a very good selection of food and drinks. Price/performance is appropriate. The staff is very friendly. Musical events are worth every time. If you are visiting Detmold or staying in Detmold, you should go to the Cup...
Unfortunately, the service is back on the image of the image. guests are not received, nor are monitored at waiting times etc. it would be nice if they could have a bright or warm reception. tiramisu was good, the remaining cakes were average and very small portions. it's a pity because it's really nice.

Incredibly nice staff and cozy courtyard. In the map vegan flame cake is offered. On demand for vegan breakfast, this was compiled with the greatest naturalness uncomplicatedly with vegan spreads and lots of fruit. oats or soy milk for coffee and cereals. Delicious.
If you are looking for a rather quiet place in the old town where you can sit down, eat, or drink, this café is ideal! The paninis taste fantastic here and I can only recommend to everyone. The staff is also very accommodating. I like to come back.
