Cafe de Riex - Réservation de table

Aufgrund einer Empfehlung waren wir letzten Samstag im Cafe de Riex zum Essen. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Tisch direkt am grossen, offenen Fenster mit Blick über die Dächer des Dorfes auf den Lac Léman hinunter. Der kleine Saal ist traditionell gemütlich und hübsch eingerichtet mit atiken Bildern, Fotos und Gegenständen aus der Gegend. Wir haben uns an die Empfehlung gehalten und beim Chef persönlich das Menu Surprise bestellt. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir die Hausgemachte Terrine de Canard, welche hervorragend schmeckte und perfekt zum Dézalay aus der Gegend passte. This is a wonderful restaurant with really nice food. We had the Menu Surprise and the food was delicious with freshness, color and variety of textures/tastes at a price/quality that we have never seen in Switzerland. This price / quality also went for the excellent wine selection, which was selected by Rogerio expertly and explained. The ambience and exceptional service was warm and friendly, but without pomp and pretention you can just relax here, enjoy the meal and don't worry if you have taken the right fork. We highly recommend you.

Worth coming from Lausanne. Great staff, welcoming and takes time to explain their menu and even translate stuff. Food was really good. The pumpkin soup (courge) was just top notch plus the bourse aux champignons (mushrooms) was special and good. We tried the duck and fish. Both plates were presented well, side vegis were delicious and the sauces were good. Local wine was good too.

Excellent French restaurant. We had the seasonal chasse menu (starter, main dish, dessert), and it was one of the best we've had in the Leman area. Instead of spätzli, they served the deer filet on top of a wild mushrooms risotto that was simply out of this world. They have a great selection of local wines and Bordeaux, including an incredible Pomerol. Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent restaurant in the middle of the Lavaux wine area at lake Geneva. Excellent menu, a delight and accompanied with excellent wine from the region. It’s the place to visit and enjoy lunch or dinner. Friendly staff and an excellent chef de cuisine.

Ist wirkliche ein Abendessen wert. Sie haben tolle Weine und das Essen ist Spitzenklasse. Fisch Fleisch egal. Wie waren zu sechst, haben mehr oder weniger alles gegessen und alles war der Hammer! Danke vielmals, macht weiter so.
