What an amazing experience we had at Dodici’s! We met with friends there to celebrate my 60th birthdayWe started with excellent bottles of wine and delicious bruschetta. Yum! It was followed with the Dodici salad which didn’t disappoint! Alexio was a wonderful waiter and was very attentive! Many of us had the chicken roulade, a signature dish that was terrific with gnocchi and asparagus. I topped off the evening with creme brûlée that melted in my mouth! They also brought out a special plate with Happy Birthday written in Italian along with a chocolate in a gift box. The food was very good. The service was good. However the waitresses ponytail did go into my sisters glass of strawberry mimosa. we were in the back room where there was no place for the noise to dissipate. We found it difficult to talk with each other. The mother's day menu was too expensive. However the regular brunch menu I thought was reasonable. Although it was very noisy, I thought a little ambient Italian music playing in the background would be good.
We went there for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. Sat outside with a glass of wine before dining indoors. The owner stopped by our table to chat and we were given a brief history of the cafe including the story behind the unusual artwork in the restrooms.
an unexpected gem of a restaurant. we asked for vegan options, and the chef offered to prepare: an avocado pasta, a over meat pasta or a tomato spaghetti. so cool! salad and broth options along with vegan wein and beer. lothringen and personal are great!

Mothers day is always very busy at Cafe Dodici, but they still do an outstanding job. It has been my favorite restaurant since it opened years ago.
