My family and I bought icecream here. It was afternoon and more than half the outdoor seating was free. While my husband was paying for the 5 icecreams I sat down with the 3 kids under the umbrellas to eat because it startet raining. Immediatly a strict waitress told me that if I wasn't going to buy anything I couln't sit. So I had to take 3 kids and all our newly bought icecream out intro the rain! My 2 year old startet crying because she thought the lady Said she couln't have the icecream and the two bigger ones was as confussed as I because we just bought something!!! The waitress only spoke german and though she clearly understood my english she insisted on only speakningen german. The b...
After a really bad experience in one of the local restaurants, we've decided to change our day for good and sat at the Forstner Cafe. It was a sunny afternoon and there were lots of tables outside. The service was fast and good, or at least the lady, which was responsible for our table. We had coffee, cappuccino and a piece of apple cake, which was melting in the mouth. Both, the coffee and the cappuccino were very delicious. The place inside has two levels and the second floor takes you to one of those pastry shops from the old times, with it's nice atmosphere and the smell of cakes and coffee.
Ich hab die Bewertungen nicht ganz geglaubt ... aber es stimmt wirklich. Extrem liebloses Frühstück mit Industrieware. Ei kostet 2,50 € extra. Nur ein Kaffee ist bei 8,50€ dabei. Die Bedienung unten an der Theke war sehr nett. Aber die, die uns dann oben bedient hat .... naja ... könnte man auch mit "Trampel" beschreiben.
Замечательное кафе в самом центре Берхтесгадена. Большой выбор сладкой супер выпечки, конфет. Самый вкусный кофе. Удобное расположение для любой погоды. Есть столики на улице и в помещении. Удобно расположиться у окна на верху и наблюдать горы.

A real treat to enjoy a pastry, cake, pie and coffee. We stopped in on a snowy day and enjoyed the warmth of the bakery on the bottom floor. There is a restaurant upstairs. If their food is as good as their cake then it must be delicious.
This has got to be one of the most lovely areas I have ever come across. The service was great and very friendly. Had my first apple strudel and it was worth the wait and sad that it was my first time.
Una piccola sosta x dissetarci... personale cortese e veloce ... ci siam seduti all'aperto anche se pioveva .... temperature fresche.Abbiamo consumato una fresca bevanda prezzo nella media.
After a long hour of traveling, enjoyed our first meal in Germany here. Nice cake and coffee ( great variety of choice). Staff was friendly. Def recommend this cafe !

We had cake here, and weisswurst which were very fresh and delicious. The pastries are also excellent. They have outdoor seating under an awning, which is nice.
Immer für eine Tasse Kaffee, ein Stück Kuchen oder einen Eisbecher gut. Sitzplatz in der Sonne ist im Frühling besonders zu empfehlen.
