Cafe Froot - Réservation de table

Well.... I've been a customer at Froot cafe for many many years and I can honestly say,I've never experienced a bad meal or rude staff in the entire time. If it's so bad then WHY is the place often packed with people waiting on the footpath for a table???   Locals love the place. I've never known the owner,Phil to be rude to a customer and I dare say, having worked in retail,there's always customers who are downright rude and expect everything to be perfect ALL of the time. I've been to a well known place in the city and found a whole cockroach in my dinner! At least it had been cooked  :) Someone complained about the early closing times. YOU get up and work a 12 hour day EV...

Cafe Froot is a fun, quirky cafe that is often busy due to it's delicious food and friendly service. The owner is hands-on and knows his regulars, he always has a smile on his face. Food has gone slightly downhill with a new chef, but prices are fair and the food is tasty. The bitchin' breakfast is delicious!

A pleasant surprise on a beautiful Semaphore morning !My muesli was very very good and my wife's advocado smash was amazing and a large serve, which I was lucky enough to finish off!Coffee was good , have had better but it was quite OK Staff were friendly and the service was good, with reasonable prices .

Liked it here previously but today found bits of cockroach in the food. Owner denied it but took the plate away amazingly quickly, considering he didn't think there was anything wrong. Offered a partial refund for our meals and was rude to us before admitting that yes, there was cockroach in the food. Réservez une table maintenant

Our all time favorite place to go for breakfast, always get the big breakie, yum yum yum... Bacon, Eggs anyway you want them, Big fat crusty bread toasted. Coffee's delicious.. choice of pancakes, cakes main meals.. They have it all. Highly recommended.

Outside dining allowed us to enjoy brunch with our dog while soaking up some winter sunshine. We had the Smoked Salmon Bagel and Bitchin' Brekky. Both our dishes came out quickly, were tasty and servings were generous! Will definitely be back :)

Stopped in for brunch/breakfast and really enjoyed the well proportioned sized meals and excellent value for price. Coffee was perfect. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Would recommend this cafe to all.

Great food and friendly service fond here. Very popular with the locals. We had the BLT and vegie rostie for breakfast, both were fantastic and very good value. Réservez une table maintenant

Dropped in for lunch with another family and it was awesome. Friendly service, great value, huge portions. Recommend salt and pepper squid! We will return

My husband and I are regulars here, we visit at least once a fortnight. Smashed avo and poached eggs are always perfect!
