Popped in here thinking it would be a nice spot for a few drinks and some tapas. Service was shocking. Locals as another person has said, were looked after with a smile and free tapas. Took ages to get served with drinks which were not me with a smile. We were going to order some tapas but with dogs barking and the service, we didn't bother. Will not be back as clearly they don't appreciate tourists in my humble opinion. Vino rosado is good; which is why they've not got 1 star!
Hubby and I were staying across the road in Hotel Simon. We used Habanero a lot. Only one night when we couldn't get in due to no tables. So friendly, not much English spoken but not a problem. Gestures and smiles and a smattering of poor Spanish on our part got us through. Menus are done on QR code which worked very well. English translation on the menu and pictures. Extremely busy the whole time and the staff work their socks off the whole time.
We were on business in Mojacar and walked up the hill. We visited Habanero and got the last empty table. Hand sanitiser on each table. Waitress (Spanish) patient with us (Scottish) as usual menu not available, just items on blackboard and tapas. The patatas bravas were good as was the tostada. Generous cups of tea all for 4.70 euros including olive oil. Sea view too. Tables cleaned after use. Nice to watch folk and traffic go by.
Estuve el sábado almorzando y la comida genial!! Hoy he vuelto a repetir ,la nuchacha súper simpática y amable. Hemos venido de luna de miel y todo genial Recomiendo al bar habanero 100% no dudéis en comer ,también comida para llevar. Consejo los caramales súper bueno y blanditos.. En general todo la comida espectacular Réservez une table maintenant
Siendo como es Mojácar que está petado de gente, vale la pena salir un poco del centro y comer tranquilamente aquí. Precio económico, y está todo bien de sabor y cantidad. Buenas vistas al paisaje y está sólo a unos 7min aprox andando desde el casco histórico. Muy recomendado.
Yo he había esta varias veces y siempre me había gustado el sitio por su atención y servicio pero al parecer han cambiado de dueños y no me ha gustado nada ni la comida ni el precio que se han subido a la parra con respecto al tipo de bar que es.
Del viaje a Almeria para nosotros fue el mejor restaurante, bar de buenas y variadas tapas nos trataron muy amablemente y resulto muy economico, sin duda una muy buena experiencia
Bares de los de antes quedan pocos y El Habanero es 1 !!! El Mejor de Mojacar !!! Réservez une table maintenant
