Cafe In The Park - Réservation de table

We visit most Sunday mornings. We park up by Tonbridge swimming pool and walk our dog (about mins) through Tonbridge Park, along the Medway out to Barden Lake. It’s a beautiful walk and the best bit is breakfast at The Cafe in the Park!...The coffee is really good and then the bacon onion baguette is delicious! Crispy bacon and lots of it with homemade BBQ sauce. The cakes and biscuits are all homemade as well! The setting is lovely with cushions available if the benches are wet or cold! Highly recommended. Kelly and Martin work so hard to make it the success it is.

We only actually needed drinks but the menu for all sorts of food looked great. Plenty of seating and decent loos. I like the way that the tables leave space for wheelchairs/pushchairs etc. I DID notice a cupboard near the counter purporting to contain...cushions but the top shelf was empty and the doors below it were locked. Do hope this offer still stands though I appreciate the huge theft risk and cafe staff probably too busy to keep tabs on them.

Really friendly service and good food which saw us through a long hot walk. The boys had massive yummy hot dogs with proper sausages, and my cheese burger with chilli sauce was delicious. Home baked bread pudding and banana bread for even more carbs, then...back at the end of the walk for some frozen yoghurt. The two guys in there were polite and patient, especially considering the heat and queues. Great service, thank you.

I'm a regular here but the food is always amazing and well worth a visit. Choice of freshly cooked hot food (Sausage/Bacon/Egg Baguette or Rolls) and always amazing choice of tasty home made cakes. Great coffee, cold drinks and loads of different ice creams ..lollies (in the summer). Réservez une table maintenant

Expectations were not high, from a cafe/tea room in a Park, this café raised those expectations,ordered home made soup and roll, and a toasted Pannini, both excellent very tasty, hot, and tastefully served up, and very reasonably priced will definitly come again when in the...area.

Excellent sausage bacon rolls plus numerous other delicious dishes. Good that they cater for coeliac sufferers. Combined with walking our dog and sometimes grandchild round the lovely lake, it's well worth the drive out.

Visited here whilst on holiday in August and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were reasonably priced too. Picnic benches were also available. Highly recommend.

I walk miles to get to this cafe just for the food. It's freshly cooked with friendly service and even in lockdown you can find somewhere to sit by the lake as you take a breather. Réservez une table maintenant
