Restaurant is now called fish and Chipper. There is a small restaurant, and we quickly sit down and order. I wasn't even informed when I asked them not to be charged or told it was bottled water, it's not a big problem. I ordered the fish with chips and my friend ordered the chicken 'n chips. The food arrived quickly, but was not impressed with the food. I've had better fish in the United States and fries were even less impressive. When they gave us the bill there was a 10% automatic service rate as the bill was higher than £20.00. Another reason to carry the experience in general. I'm here in London for a few days, but we're not coming back.
Had a lovely eve.. sat outside this 'cafe ', ie Fish Chip shop ' ate 'the best fish chips ' ive had in a long time...after i told the guy working behind the counter... said 'if this is what the tourists are eating this may be their only chance of them eating 'British fish chips ' then im pleased...it looked impressive on the plate tasted great! The serving staff were were good as well. However he said they moan about the price!! Well i said 'That 's Central London for you, hey what price, quality!! But i felt was very good value for money.. great before 'our show '!!
It has to be the worst food I've ever tasted. Raw meat chip. Cold fries. We're trying to get personal attention. We were the only people there no one ever looked like food. From there we went to the food. We went to pay, which I thought had no choice, since then they were being looking at us the cook who mysteriously appeared! They said the waitress was raw and she just smiled at me. So, since the left only sniggered in us. What a horrible place. More reasonable junk food. Never again.
5 from the cafeteria approached us a few days after Christmas and they asked to sit inside as it was cold outside. We were told that we could sit inside if everyone asked for something. We had agreed, sat down, looking at the menus and ordering 3 desserts and 2 coffees. However, we were told that it was not enough to justify a seat inside the cafeteria and served instead. Customer experience absolutely terrible and we end up walking.

Absolutely upset by these people. I've been eating in this place for three decades. Today I was very polite since four times they got the wrong food. Then the idiot lady who was serving me told me to come out as they didn't want my custom type. That was the point when I lost my patience and started a noisy scene in front of all your clients. An unpleasant job and I'll never set foot there again.
The food was a little tasteless, but it worsened when the staff talks about you in Spanish while giving you a dirty look. I felt really uncomfortable all the time I was there and it seemed to me that the more educated I was stepping on the staff, the more upset they acted towards us. Here's advice for the future: just because someone is American doesn't mean they just understand English.
Just a stone's throw from Leicester square in the busiest street, there is a giant sign with fish and chips written! Here you can sit inside or take away. To taste fish and chips with fries contour! Quality excellent price very good! To avoid pig würstel those are terrible!

A great place to go before a show if you don't have much time but you want something blunt. The shrimp and chips are tasty! : It is a small seating area, but it is quite quiet between 5-7 pm in working days. The staff is kind, too.
