I’m glad I didn’t look at some of the most recent reviews before visiting las banderas or I would not have gone, but let me dispel some of those comments based on our experience. We sat outside and were quickly served by a charming young lady. Our drinks arrived in just a few minutes along with a mixed salad which was the first part of the menu of the day. For starters my wife had calamares a la romana and I had calamar a la plancha, with a really good salsa verde. The squid was fresh not frozen and was well cooked.
