I called three times to place a takeout order (around 11 a.m) because it normally takes 15 minutes to get a bagels. No answer. None. So I decide to go in and order a bagel despite no answer. Four people working behind the counter. Two customers in the cafe.. Why wasn't my call answered. No hello or greeting when I walked in. Waited for a couple minutes with NO service. Pitiful. Everytime I go in the staff are unfriendly. I will say the bagels are delicious but customer service is 75% of a restaurant experience and yall are not delivering. Do better. Taking my business to Starbucks where customer service is always amazing and my money is valued.
We found this place when we stayed in Great Mountain in November 2020. We had to visit again. Today the food was great as usual my only complaint the weakest tea I’ve ever had. You can’t make a large tea with one tea bag. Hot water with a faint of tea flavor. Although it was about 40 degrees with the sun and that beautiful view it was like it was in the 60’s. My daughter had the dirty Chai shake . She loves it. The bagels were fresh and delicious! Great spot a must if you are in the area but Cafe Leo don’t skimp on the tea bags please.
While the food quality of this place is incredible, the service is lackluster. When there is a long wait I think the staff gets overwhelmed. My coffee order has been wrong or completely forgotten several times. The pastries and bagels are amazing and the coffee is great, but I avoid going here when it’s too busy or if I’m only getting coffee. It’s inconvenient going here but their item selection is great.
