I must have visited hundreds of coffee shops in Austria over the years but the behaviour of the waitress was appalling. Do not get me wrong the coffee and the cake were top notch. At our table we tried to order our coffee in German only to be put down by the waitress saying in an abrupt manor that if we had told her we were English speakers it would have made things easier. I tried to explain that we were all trying to learn German and practice makes perfect. The waitress was just dismissive of this explanation. I could hear the same waitress constantly putting down the young man who was helping with the orders. You do not do this in ear shot of customers! Great cake and coffee but the place...
Seit vielen Jahren kommen wir hierher, denn da gibt es den allerbesten, gerührten Eiskaffee! Wir sind auf diesem Gebiet Experten, denn es hat damit begonnen, dass ein Konditor behauptete, er habe den besten in ganz Österreich. Und somit haben wir begonnen in allen Bundesländern und auch in anderen Staaten zu testen. Nach jahrelangen Recherchen trauen wir uns zu behaupten, der selbst gekrönte Meister hatte nicht recht. Wir waren mehrmals bei vielen verschiedenen Anbietern aber unsere Meinung ist: 'Den Besten gibt 's in Bad Aussee! '
Also, ich komme gerade wegen der Dame mit Brille, den blonden Haaren und den gemachten Augenbrauen (Neidig, denn offensichtlich geht es nur nach dem Äußeren… gerne und regelmäßig hier her. Und ich werde immer sehr freundlich bedient. Vielleicht hilft auch die alte Weisheit: „Wie man in den Wald ruft, so kommt es zurück“. Egal wie man ausschaut. Ich kann nur sagen: Top Bedienung und ein Top Cafe‘.
Nice place to sit. Eiskaffee was ok. Coffee comes out of the fully automated machine. Do it's probably never really bad (or good). Beer on tap. Charley Tremmel ice claims to be excellent. Come for drinks at the outdoor bar in the evening of for afternoon cakes and coffee. Menu cards worn out - need replacement. Service slow - to be expected in a touristy place.

We stopped by and had icecream and really cannot comment about anything other than that. One needs to emphasize the hard to find excellent quality of Temmels icecream. Try the "Lebkuchen" flavor! Unforgettable.

Die Eisbecher sind sensationell gut . Wenn wir zum Altauseersee fahren, ist es ein Muss zum Lewandofsky auf einen Eisbecher. Die Bedienung ist auch sehr freundlich
I had high expectations for the ice cream but for me it was just ok ok. After you've found one of the best it's hard to get better will keep looking.

Good location in the centre of the town, but right on the main road. The service is attentive, but the food was only average. Shame.
Amarenabecher hervorragend, Nougatnocken spitze! Personal ok, aber leider unterbesetzt
