Very cute place by the banks of Lake Geneva in vevey. They have an amazing view form the cafe. They have a cute little library attached to it. The staff are warm and helpful. We stopped by to have some nice coffee. Quite close to the Charlie Chaplin statue in Vevey. It was a nice and sunny day when we arrived at vevey and bumped into this place. They have an outdoor seating with heaters so it was extremely pleasant and cozy even sitting outside. I think this has one of the best views in vevey by the lake overlooking the mountains on the other side of the lake.
Since we discovered it we‘ve become regulars. I do not know of one place that manages to give me a holiday feeling each Saturday morning. Wonderful coffee, fresh juice, croissants, water for the dog and the best service thinkable: funny, entertaining and with a genuine smile . A five star place if ever there was one. I don't go there as much as I'd like but when I mooching around Vevey looking for a spot to chill, Le Café Littéraire is always my top choice. Everything invites you to stay for a while, the service is friendly and the food is tasty. They have great homemade lemonade!
