This restaurant is not only in the best location in Leipzig, but it is also the best restaurant here!!!! Great ambience, nice courtyard area and the service is world class!!!! The food/tapas are excellent and there is an excellent selection of wines. We stayed in Leipzig for 4 days and have eaten 3x at Café Madrid and had a wonderful evening. I was at Café Madrid last night, and I had a special reservation and asked for a quiet place that I and my accompaniment also got. The two waiters who took care of us tonight were very friendly and accommodating, Service 1a. also the food was really delicious, from the tapas plate to the curry coconut soup as well as the pigs pastries that are highly recommended.
