from the outside, with its terrace, it looks like any other cafe in the land, but when entering the main lounge, it is difficult to make that we do not in 1958. furniture, lights, colors, everything exactly as it would look, but... overhauled restored and well kept. the substances are of course modern, but the effect is so perfect that you wonder how it is done. also cakes are good and service is friendly and efficient. central, large, simple place to stop between visiting the beautiful churches in the city or just the shops

this place creates to be both old-fashioned and cool. we had a few cakes, and were really impressed by the nice service and the great gesture of the owner to try us a free cream roll. very nice experience.

Went here several times a week for coffee and studying. Great cake and small meals. Lovely atmosphere. Has milk alternatives. Never visit Schwäbisch Gmünd without going here

old and traditional caffe near the center of Swabian gmünd. large selection of homemade cakes. service was friendly and fast. nice to sit outside in summer.
