My 9 year old daughter and I stopped for hot chocolate. Our drinks were extra yummy and were just a pleasure to look at.There was a customer who had obviously had some incontinence issues as there was a bad smell of urine...but when she left the girls working there discreetly took away the chair and just cleaned the area, ridding the cafe of the horrible smell. They did this happily and diplomatically. They were all friendly and will definitely visit again soon.
After our visit to Lakeside, we decided to stop at Cafe Nero for a coffee. The staff were friendly and greeted us with a smile. The decor of the cafe was decent. The prices were typical for the area. My only complaint is that when I ordered an Americano, I was surprised to only receive half a cup. Since Americano coffee doesn't include milk, I don't understand why the cups aren't filled to the top.
We had just arrived at Lakeside and had parked near Debenhams and were looking for somewhere for coffee and remembered this place hidden under the escalators just outside Debenhams. We ordered coffee and a toasted panettone. I love the sweetness of this and when toasted it gets a lovely crust and is great for dunking.
Always have a coffee here. Its the best in Lakeside and the service is always very good. Also find its not as expensive as the other places in the centre. Its a small site so we tend not to sit in there as normally busy but happy to walk around with our coffee. Réservez une table maintenant
We went upstairs for a Coffe due to insufficient setting downstairs. Please find a different location for the dustpan, brush and cleaning trolley at the bottom of the staircase. Nice atmosphere and I recommend this places to all Lakeside shoppers.
I met up with friends at this restaurant. It's never too crowded in the evenings. The staff is always friendly and prompt. They have a small seating area upstairs for those seeking some privacy, as well as outdoor seating. The location is great.
I used to visit Café Nero during my breaks at Lakeside, but I have recently been opting for Starbucks upstairs because I prefer the taste. However, Café Nero is still a good option with a pleasant atmosphere in the shop.
I will go here after work. It's a quiet time and allows me to relax after a hectic day with good coffee or hot chocolate and quick and friendly service. The environment is calm and peaceful- relaxing . Réservez une table maintenant
Very nice coffee. Server seemed offended when I pointed out their dirty crockery and chipped saucers. Tired decor and ripped furniture. Still love the coffee.
