Cafe Nineteen - Réserver une table

I stopped by cafe nineteen on the way out of a shopping trip to Northpark.I walked in and waited by the counter to be served for FIVE WHOLE MINUTES. Meanwhile 2 of the 4 staff members talked amongst themselves about their weekends and even when one of them spotted me, nobody moved a muscle and just kept talking about saturday night. Eventually one of the other two staff members emerged from out the back, walked straight past me to another section of the counter to serve someone who had arrived 4 minutes after me. After saying excuse me I was first and asking to be served, the staff all looked at me like I'd just killed somebody. I simply walked out. To have 4 staff members and no customers and still not be able to serve a customer in 5 minutes is outrageous. I will be telling anyone I know not to go there.

We have Sunday lunch at this pleasant café. There is seating for well over 50 in an area which opens out onto the covered shopping arcade. I find the large colourful advertising board very attractive. The man on duty is very friendly and helpful. There is a large range of lunch offerings and cakes. We enjoy the filled baked potato which comes hot and with an interesting salad (not rocket and weeds!), and the Black Forest cake to follow is very fresh and delicious. My cappuccino is well done. So 4/5 is easy. But why not 5/5? This is a difficult question, and has something to do with 'ambiance'. It is very hard for a café which is open to the passing public to have a nice intimacy. But we shall come back again.

This cafe is one of the best is this area. You are always approached with a smile and warm greeting by staff who are competent and timely in their service. Their coffee is second to none and the Monday-Friday roasts are to die for. Recommend this cafe to anyone shopping in the North Park and Sefton Park shopping precinct.

Cafe nineteen had alright quality food but they didn't have great range. It's a good place to go to if you just want to have a short coffee visit. They have Ice Cream there and quite good bakery food. They also have some sweet foods.

Nice coffee and fresh food prepared. Good value menu. Nice burger the table service is friendly. Will come back
