Came here for the first time last week for a work dinner and it lives up to everything that my bosses rave about. For someone who’s ambivalent about seafood, I have to admit that they serve top notch freshest gems from the sea. I love the Mussels served in Tomato Base Cream Sauce, dip some bread in the sauce, it tasted so good I had to have seconds! Also the Garlic Prawns were delish...For mains, i chose the Fettucine Scampi (but swapped out with soaghetti instead) and it was absolutely delicious!! The scampi’s so fresh, the flesh tasted sweet! If only they had put in as much effort in making the dessert more exciting, this place would be perfect. But i’d still come back anytime for the Scam...
The best kind of family restaurants are the ones where you genuinely feel like family. After more than 20 years as a repeat customer, Cafe Nino fits the bill. Everything on the menu is sensational, but my enduring favourite is their iconic Seafood Mornay. But here's a little off-menu tip. Request their Penne Arrabiata served with gnocchi instead of penne. Mind blowing!
Cafe Nino is one of our favourites. Never disappoints. Claude is always welcoming and happy to have a chat when able to. The Fettuccine Alla Pia is always on our menu when visiting here.
Cafe Nino has the Best pasta! The waiters were very helpful and recommended great dishes since it was our first time here. We're planning on coming back next week
