Ce café-salon de thé est situé sur la place centrale de Mayen (Rhénanie-Allemagne). On y vient pour déguster un morceau de gâteau ou boire un café entre amis. Tradition très ancrée en Allemagne. L'accueil est chaleureux. La patronne vous prend les mains et vous guide vers une table libre. Nombreuses pâtisseries (autour de 2 euros) à la crème généreuse. L'ambiance est familiale et joyeuse. On s'arrête ici à tout moment de la journée. Fermé le soir. Un vrai bon moment de tradition allemande...et on se régale.
I tasted twice and had the same experience every time, the breakfast was good, varied and a good choice of ham, etc., but the breakfast was a bit hard cooked and looked like it was cooked a long time ago. The coffee tasted and everything else was good with the somewhat unfriendly operation. Only a woman was really friendly. but I would eat here again!
Best fashion. No special ambience, operation unfriendly. Cake was fine, but in no case homemade. Coffee was just filter coffee. Two pieces of cake plus filter coffee came to 8,30€, which is not now sensational cheap. Since there are several coffees on the market in Mayen, I would rather guess.
this spacious terrace is located on the large market square of mayen. the drinks are paid directly when serving what is a little unfriendly. the white beer tastes great and the view over the center compensated for some. the furniture is comfortable and the staff is friendly.

het terras van dit restaurant is goed gemeubileerd en ruim opgezet met uitzicht over de gole marketplaceats. de bediening is niet al te vlot maar de drankjes daarentegen zijn in orde. je kunt here niet dineren want ze sluiten al rond zes uur.
When we wanted to go to the café with our 4 children, no hello etc. Nobody talked to us. Instead, reserved signs were quickly set up so that we could not sit down. I haven't seen such a place yet. Bad! Children and people are not welcome.
Best cake in Mayen! Prices are not too expensive and the location top. The conditions are not all the kindest you need to consider...
