Cafe Man is a local café at the end of a number of terrace houses in a very industrial area. From outside, it is the last place you expect to find a number of vegan options. A good selection also see photo for menu Jan 2022. The staff really knew everything about the requirements even to the extent they told me that I could not have a role because they had milk, but the sliced bread was milk free. I had a Vacon sandwich, with chips and a big house made folding jacket, which was nice. The other half had a Linda Mc fishcake. They even had vegan Mayo and salad cream! I visited this restaurant today on November 28th, 2023 after seeing reviews online. Despite the reviews not being recent, I was disappointed to find that there were no vegan options available, not even milk. When a man at the next table suggested I order a jacket potato, I declined as I had some at home and didn't see the point in paying for one without any vegan margarine or other accompaniments. The lack of vegan options made me feel like I had been transported back to the 1980s. I would not recommend wasting your time at this restaurant.
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to find a cafe that offered a perfect vegan English breakfast. It's also conveniently located close to the beach. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning in the future!
The bacon butties and cheesy chips are the best and the ice cream is great for taking on the beach while taking your dog for a walk or while you are going on a walk with family/friends.if you haven't been already I would really recommend going to try the bacon butties or cheesy chips
