we were here for a brunch. the waitress refused to speak English. So we had to try to order our best in german we ordered the sunday burger deal that should contain a cocktail. but the waitress didn't want us. give this cocktail because she said she asked us if we want this cocktail. We have not heard this or perhaps we have not noticed that our German is limited. Why should she ask us when we order the menu to confuse us? she said. I asked you, but you don't say anything. So for all them, if they don't speak German as their first or second language, please note this problem. they'll **** you up.
I came here two nights at the truppet. I ordered the dream dancerburger. probably one of the best juicy burgers I had for a long time. as a side, bratkatoffln, in tiny, well-cooked wobble. absolutely delicious. the waiters are not. the fastest, but in the summer it is a beautiful, busy mood. the food comes immediately, so it works very well. I used my broken German without problems. they speak English well and it is worth visiting in detmold.
the caffe is beautiful in the middle of detmold and the interrior of cafe tries to imitate large city flair. the service is friendly but painfully slow (coffee arrived before eating). eating is decent, but very overpriced 5. euros for a large glass fresh orange juice, 4.20 euro for a large latte macchiato). will not be recommending!
Found this place by chance when looking for a place to meet for breakfast.Nice space, looks like it would be a great bar for the evening too, but breakfast menu is comprehensive, covering everything from light bites to full on hearty bacon / pancakes options.Pricing good, great coffee too and service was also excellent.

Outback, difficult to get a table, no mater what day of the week you go, the tables are always reserved which really frustrates me. The upside..once you get a seat the service, ambience, and food is very good especially the burgers. Eaten on many occasions throughout the years and have never been disappointed.
Cafe Outback is the go to meeting place for theatre folk. It boasts a friendly and attractive waitstaff, crispy flammkuchen, and although the drinks are Frankfurt prices, they really give you your money's worth of alcohol. I haven't had a cocktail I didn't like. Do however, avoid the nachos.
We had a very nice dinner there with colleagues. Their burgers are amazing, meat is fresh and good and their homemade buns are delicious. I tried one with chili and onions named Katrina something and recommand to test it. Staff is nice and athmosphere is...very friendly.
Being Australian, it's nice to have a cafe that reminds me of home (in name, if not by food). This place does great cocktails and the hamburgers aren't that bad either. They have some nice deals on Thursdays and Sundays.

Good place to eat a good burger. Pretty big choice, also for vegetarians. Nice ambiance and good service. I gave it a very good, because average sounds so bad....
eating is very good, wide range of hamburger. the staff is very nice! they must book in advance!
