Cafe Pizzeria Wanninger

My wife and I were looking for a good pizza and drove spontaneously to Oberammergau to find a pizzeria. After parking, they came directly to the restaurant Wanninger and arrived after a short consultation. The two pizzas were huge and tasted super delicious (diavolo and vegetarian). The staff was also very friendly. What a little missed was the Italian music in the background, otherwise this restaurant is only recommended.

No good pizza! Anyone who has certain requirements on a pizza definitely does not come at his expense. We live in the village and know far better options. Price performance is absolutely not (13€ Diavolo) and with an Italian pizza it has nothing to do. Dough hard and not fluffy, tomato sauce tasteless and also no chewed cheese. The staff is very nice.

Great wood stove that is already visible when it comes in. The staff was super friendly and we were even allowed to watch how the pizza was extended and was done in the wood stove. A great experience. She also tasted great and was ready quickly. We like to come back.

One of the very few places here with English words on the menu. Sweet wine was yummy, Diavola pizza delicious and I was able to swap out onions for basil. Service was a little slow because we got there when they had a rush but staff was very nice and accommodating. Réservez une table maintenant

My husband and I ate outside. We were there on Sunday noon. The food has tasted great and has done well. The staff was very friendly and quick. We were very happy. We both had a pizza from the wood stove and a side salad with regional ingredients.

Nice food, with also a lot of Italian choices.Goulash soup was nice and beer as well!The place inside was not so nice like other traditional Bavarian style restaurants!the covid protection plastic among tables were spoiling the atmosphere.

The tomato soup was served almost cold. After I pointed out the waitress, I got the dish microwave-heated unfriendly brought back. Staff are overwhelmed and prices are not appropriate to the quantity.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at this relaxing restaurant. Service was very friendly, given we were speaking English and the waitress did not have a great understanding. Such a pretty village to visit! Réservez une table maintenant

Good thin crust pizza, not too much sauce and ample toppings. Excellent Black Forest Cake.
