The owners of this delightful restaurant formerly ran die Alte Schlosserei in Engelskirchen, 9 kilometers away, but opened this new restaurant at the beginning of 2014. I am on holiday in Germany and was looking for a change of menu from meat, followed by more meat. We started lunch with a delicous lobster Bisque and I filled this with a wonderful light sea bream dish. Finally reopened. After many disappointments in recent years, the Kleinjung family has taken over the sceptic and opened their traditional restaurant at least once a month. With proven and new team in service and kitchen and many famous specialties of the Schwarzenberger Hof kitchen on the map. For us, regular guests have been a dream since 1974. Good bourgeois cuisine at decent prices. Nice and firm service and very child-friendly. The ambience is almost unchanged and cozy.
Wer gutes Fleisch und gut gebratenes Steak zu schätzen weiß sollte unbedingt das Balthasar auf suchen. Ich habe lange nicht mehr so gutes Fleisch gegessen. Butterzart und auf den Punkt gebratenes Fleisch, Beilagen können extra ausgewählt werden. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich, die Bedienung sehr bemüht und der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. The Landhaus Schwarzenberger Hof in Gummersbach Rohrnbusch is a great house for Ivents and celebrations.
