Nice lunch at this Cafe/Restaurant in Nuremberg Old Town.The Rigatoni with Roast Chicken in A Cream & Wine Sauce was very nice.Had 2 glasses of draught Lederer Pils. The 1st was the gassiest beer I've drunk in decades. A constant volcano of bubbles in the glass. 2nd glass was better. Lederer like many German Pils these days now has a dry finish. I prefer the maltier Helles bier myself but wanted to try this Tucher brewed product as I've sampled their other brand products (Tucher/Zirndorfer).
A small venue by the riverside of the city, with about 20 tables in total give or take a few. The staff is either overly polite or the direct opposite. I ordered one of the salads with chicken, it was definitely good and the portion was large. When I decided to try their drinks I do have to say I was rather discontent. In short, go for a beer if you visit this place and you'll be fine. This place has a nice location but it's nothing special.
Our last night in Nuremberg, all we want was a place to have drinks and food, the luftsprung delivered all that. Our waitress was very friendly and the food was good in size and taste, the ribs could be cooked a bit longer but the flavor was awesome. We spent some quality time there! Definitely recommend!
Typical Café/Bar with pub type food - all good. Even though we were hungry the waiter suggested we order the small portion salad and he was right. The small portion was large and most adequate for most anyone. Good selections, good service, dependable right on the river running thru the old town. Réservez une table maintenant
Went here yesterday, was only going to have a drink but the food looked lovely so I decided to have a mushroom salad. I have never had breaded mushrooms with salad but it was that nice I wanted to go back today. A dark grey haired man served us who was really nice and helpful.
We visited this restaurants with German friends. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere, they serve traditional German cuisine. The food was lovely with good sized portions. We had Kaiserschmarrn, an Austrian pancake dessert, which was very tasty.
Beautiful place with atmosphere, friendly, nice staff anf great food. Soups Salads absolutely great. Will go there again when next tome in Nuremberg

We stopped in for a drink and some soup. The goulash was very, very good. The menu had lots of choices and the staff was very attentive.
