the cafe muhlebach is located on the seefeldstrasse in a somewhat quiet opposite, the next tram 2/4 (kreuzstrasse). it is certainly a lively caffe, with customers coming in nonstop. also the other guests are the most friendly place to make them in one of the tightly enclosed padded seats or. have only one place on one of the middle rooms wooden tables. they have a very nice selection of warm/cold drinks, wine, cocktails, hot meals and more. this was close to our hotel and seems to be a place visited by local people. we felt brave and decided to try it with our very limited language skills. a type that sat a few tables about was friendly enough to help us find out what some of the items were and the server and the owner were also quite charming. we shared hawaii with a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with a piece of pineapple on it and on omelett with tomato and roggenbrot on the side. both were so delicious. who knew pineapple on a sandwich.
