Usually love cafe Rio but this particular location seems to fall short. Orders have repeatedly been wrong and this most recent time it looks like they just threw together the left overs of the day. Barely any meat, beans or rice and way too much lettuce. (We ordered around 7pm and they don't close until 10pm so it's not like we were cutting it close). I ordered an horchata that was basically water with a bit of cinnamon. Our order was also very late

The rice was undercooked. When I mentioned this to the manager, he informed me that it would take half an hour to prepare a new batch. However, another staff member quickly retrieved a fresh batch from the oven in under two minutes, and it was still hard and undercooked. It's puzzling how this restaurant stays in business with a manager who seems indifferent and can't even manage to cook such a basic dish correctly!

Do you want to see unhappy employees?? You are in the right place. These guys have no customer service at all. It is like they look at you upset because you are placing an order. There were four guys working today and they all acted the same. Let's talk about the food: several items were not available like grilled chicken, guacamole, mixed cheese or shredded lettuce.Dirty tables and bathrooms are an issue as well. The food and atmosphere were both fantastic. I found the horchata to taste more like milk, though, and if you order the salad, keep in mind that salsa costs extra. I would definitely return, but I’d try something different from the menu next time.

This place is not good at all. Tried this place when we cameTo visit my mom who lives close by this restaurant. If you like Mexican food, this is not the place to go. This place is expensive and not worth it.
