Cafe Strupait - Réserver une table

Went with friends. My german friends took me here. We went for coffee and cake. We got a table and ordered our choices. But the cakes were bad. They were stale. Coffee was strictly ok. We tried to call the waiter but he seemed to...be busy. The food is expensive and the cakes are pathetic. Went home and got sick. Vomitted for two days. Don't waste time money or energy to go here. Must better places in town like Ziebart or Heimbs for better cakes.

The place is located in a former pharmacy and does have a nice decoration and ambiente. It is very popular and I used to go there every now and then. However, apparently they can´t handle success. Twice in a row now we were treated with...incredible arrogance, once by one of the owners, the second time by their waiter. I will never go back! The food is ok, but expensive for what it is.

Cafe Strupait was a nice surprise regarding atmosphere, service and quality of food. The staff was extremely friendly, polite, flexible and efficient. Even though we had not booked and the restaurant was fully occupied, we managed to get a table. They were also very friendly...and easy going with children.

After a long day spent in Hannover Messe, we followed Tripadvisor suggestion and we found a very nice restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere, very good beer good meal and not so expensive!
