This local restaurant and pub in the old Longueuil area is ideal for enjoying a beer or sangria on a hot summer day. It has a great terrace in the front and back of the building, as well as a second-floor lounge area. They also serve food such as burgers, salads, and croque monsieur. During the summer, the terrace extends out onto St-Charles street, giving it a Parisian feel. Additionally, it is only a 15-minute walk from the Longueuil Metro station, or you can take the bus.
After a long day of hiking, my son and I arrived at the hotel at 9 pm hungry and looking for a place to eat. Unfortunately, no other restaurants had their kitchen open at that hour. Thankfully, the staff at this restaurant was able to provide us with fresh and delicious salads and bruschetta. The food was perfect, made with fresh ingredients and had fantastic taste. The staff was also great.
First, the service was absent. Second, the sangria was glorified juice. Thirdly, it took an hour in an empty restaurant) to receive what I could only refer as “a teenage boy trying to cook for the first time” type of food. Oh and did I forgot to mention that the server ate on top of our food right before giving it to us? Would never go again and you should skip.
This place has a fantastic patio space which is great in the summer. The twinkle lights make for a nice ambiance.I was less than pleased with the drinks. We got the red sangria and kamikaze shots, both of which tasted like juice leaving us questioning if there was actually alcohol in them. Réservez une table maintenant
We were 5 and we had 2 cappuccino, 2 hot chocolate and one Irish coffee. All of them tasted water. Really not the place to have coffee with friends. As for the service, it wasn't too greate.Really not a place I would recommend.
Le Resto est très bien situé sur la rue St-Charles du Vieux-Longueuil: le décor est rétro et crée une ambiance sympathique. La bière est excellente, la nourriture est ordinaire et le service est poli sans plus.
Relatively upscale diner, offering conventional food at somewhat elevated price. Much frequented by the arty crowd of Vieux-Longueuil. A little too crowded, prices a little high for the kind of eats offered.
