Since the Café des LWL Museum was unfortunately closed, but with my companions were the big coffee and cake hungry, we went over the nearby shopping street. Wiacker is an institution known in Herne and far beyond the city boundaries. The cake made by Konditorei Wiacker for our family was a single catastrophe: inconspicuous in view, completely unclean and, above all, lazy. Our sketches and personal wishes discussed so far have not been observed or implemented at all. One of the oldest confectionery in Herne-known for very good and fine bakery and wedding cakes and generally cakes for special occasions on order. Unfortunately, the café itself has really come into the years - the facility, especially the seating is sometimes very desperate and the prices are quite sharp in contrast to the numerous competition on site.
