Before making a km walk through the forest near Bad Harzburg we decided to visit the café Winuwuk. Das Cafe Winuwuk - das liegt mir seit 2001 ganz besonders im Herzenund mein Magen freut sich total auf die kleinen Delikatessen welche die Speisekarte in die Anbiete stellt. Die Auswahl ist klein und fein und alle Gerichte sind frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker.Als Dessert kann ich die so sehr besonders superguddi schmeckenden und selbst gebackenen Kuchen und Torten mehr nur empfehlen.Denn wir kehren - wann immer wir im Harz sind im Cafe Winuwuk ein da 15 Jahre konstant gleichbleibende Speisen- und Kuchenqualität für sich sprechen.Auch lieben wir die Innenausstattung des Cafes und wir lassen uns immer die Broschüre über die Entstehung des Cafe Winuwuk an den Tisch bringen weil es interessant...
Das Café ist eigentlich sehr stimmig. Man hat einen schönen Ausblick, das Haus passt zu der Umgebung, aber nun leider der Haken. Da es heute etwas gefüllter war, war die Bedienung/Küche total überfordert. Für den Kaffee müsste man 15 Minuten warten, Kuchen dauerte 20 Minuten, und eine Suppe ganze 60! Das ist leider total unakzeptabel, und deswegen kann ich das Café nicht empfehlen, zumindest nicht, wenn viele andere Gäste da sind. Da das Personal nicht in der Lage sein zu scheint, einen normalen Kaffee in einer vernünftigen Geschwindigkeit auszuschenken.
my sister and I found a postcard of cafe winuwuk when our parents visited bad harzburg. we traveled from london to see the places they were. seeing it there and whispering was lovely. it is a beautiful place and...we had coffee, tee, delicious toast with cheese, cake and wine to celebrate our special time there. we hoped that our parents will look at us in the approval. we have tried to explain to the personal why we have come, but we do not speak unfortunately German. a beautiful souvenir shop. very happy time.
nice place to stop when around. more in demand table from outside, it was full so had to wait to get space, although when we sat there were several tables all empty (and not because of the corona conditions). had tee and coffee, wanted to order cake later, but no one we could stop and ask. also had to get up to pay the bill, customer service was not so good. service only works to make your order and get the order too table, otherwise they are all alone there.
