It was unfathomable to think that the best cafe was located in hardware house. They showcased the awards that the coffee has won and introduced us to the beans. Service was great and extremely friendly and attentive. Very casual and laid back coffee shop overall.

only the second time that I ever had the dead macauley st and, in contrast to the other time when I went to the swanky bar nr. 5, cafe without a name is less a goal, more a basic cafe for local workers or buyers in the hardware store a few tables on a deck and just what sandwiches and cakes they have for eating. the coffee was hot and strong, but a little sour. they forgot my toastia in the grill until she was burned and had to make a new one. otherwise very nice people.
I love this place (in part because I love cats, and in part because it's a great place itself!).
