Cafeteria Swansea

Our hotels restaurant was full to overflowing so we decided to get breakfast outside instead. This little cafe was just found the corner. Delicious still warm tortilla, fresh bread, croissant , excellent decaf coffee 2 of us ate fir just over €10. Great value and a friendly atmosphere, a regular with the local police too, 4 officers turned up to get their coffee and breakfast just as we were leaving!

We were also staying in the NH hotel just around the corner and 4 of us had breakfast here, for less than 1 person at the hotel. The mushroom and potatoes tortilla was really good and my step father commented that he thought the coffee was the best he had had in the Basque Country. Not the biggest selection, but plenty to give a good start to the day.

Near to termibus where we are getting coach to San Sebastián. Fixed price lunch for €14.95 including Verdejo was a bargain and delicious. Sat outside with locals seafood rice and tomato onion and tuna salad for starters then sea bass and pork for main plus chips plus dessert or coffee What’s not to like ? plus smiley service

This pub or cafeteria has very nice atmosphere and it represent a typical Basque place. Very simple pintxos for approx 1 EUR and beer for small price. The waiters were very nice and and had patience with my bad Spanish language.

Staying at NH Villa round the corner and didn’t want a huge breakfast and this fitted the bill. Great coffee delicious tortilla and friendly service. Excellent find.
